Shipping & Postage

How much is the delivery cost?

The website calculates the weight (& sometimes size for items over 1m) of your order, then checks your postcode for possible delivery methods & prices eg Royal Mail or courier service. Delivery & packaging is at cost-price or less. Unfortunately, paper is heavy, so the price tends to be a little on the high side.

When can I expect my delivery?

In Brief

Courier Delivery UK: 2-4 working days* This is the normal delivery service on an average sized order to be delivered to most UK Mainland addresses. Orders received before midday will normally be processed and despatched on the same day for next working day* delivery. During busy periods, e.g. Christmas, orders can take longer to be processed.

Royal Mail: 2-4 working days* This the expected delivery time for smaller orders and delivered to most UK Mainland addresses. Tracked 48.

Pallet Delivery: 2-4 working days* This the expected delivery time for large or bulky orders received before midday and delivered to most UK Mainland addresses. If you are in the North West, and you order early enough in the day, same day delivery may be possible! Deliveries can not be tracked.

In Detail

Our website uses four methods of shipping orders. Royal Mail, Courier and Heavy Goods Pallet. Depending upon the combination of products, and the destination, you will be offered a choice of appropriate delivery methods. Once you start to fill in your delivery details, the options & prices become visible. Please bear in mind that paper is a heavy product to ship, and although delivery prices can sometimes appear high, we do subsidise the cost of shipping on most orders.

UK Courier Service

Our UK courier service is operated by DHL and most orders are despatched by this method. This is a next working day ( Mon-Fri ) courier service for Zone 1 addresses, so orders placed early enough in the day; usually before midday should arrive promptly the following day. You will be notified by email of the status of the delivery, and you can track it’s progress. During busy times, orders can sometimes take longer to be processed and packed, but will still be sent by next working day courier service. UK Zones 2 & 3 can also take longer, these include the highlands and islands of Scotland, UK islands & other remote places.

Royal Mail

Smaller items can be sent to the UK by Royal Mail. See the Royal Mail website for further current details.

International Courier Service

Since Brexit, it has become too difficult to ship to the EU with too many packages never reaching thier destination, or being returned for obscure reasons. With regret, we have withdrawn this service.

* Working Days

Our working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and national holidays.
